Owls and M&Ms

Last weekend, I got the chance to help host a baby shower for a dear friend of mine.  She had mentioned liking some of the "owl-themed" baby things out right now, so we tried to theme the shower around that...it was so cute!  Since she is having a sweet baby girl, I had a great time making everything pink.  :-)


It happened to be the perfect time of year to be able to buy the pink and white M&Ms that are technically made for Valentines Day, or in this case, baby girls!


The other girl helping host decorated the most adorable owl cake.

We girls had a great time eating and visiting and celebrating.  Ben, on the other hand, was kicked out of the house.  He spent the morning on a photography outing, which you can read about in an upcoming post on his blog: http://bensisney.blogspot.com/.
