Pioneer Farms and Grandparents Visit!

Very recently my (Ben) grandparents and parents were able to come visit for the weekend. It was the first time my Dad's parents had been able to come visit us in Austin and we were excited!

We spent the weekend hanging out at our house playing a new game my parents introduced to us called Qwirkle. The game was a lot of fun!

I'll call this "Qwirkle Face"

We also made a trip to a local living history park called Pioneer Farms. I, of course, brought my camera and tried to not slow down the group too much with my picture taking. The farm was really fun and we'll have to make another visit when they have some of their more unique events going on.

The main things we saw at the farm were the historic buildings, buggies in the buggy museum, and livestock.

This was a Dr's Buggy.

The Donkeys were shy at first, but eventually then came over to check out what we were doing.

This guy was extra fuzzy!

What are YOU looking at?

This guy was very interestingly decorated.

There was also a huge live oak tree that is an officially registered tree with the city of Austin.

A very fun weekend! I hope you enjoyed the pictures.
